The Fantastic Four

That tricky sista Laura Bacchi tagged me...again! My ass is draggin' from all of the tags! Now I have to name four things about myself. Read and learn.

Four jobs I've had or currently have in my life:
1. Movie theater projectionist (no, not at a porn theater either)
2. Bank teller supervisor
3. Electric Utility dispatcher
4. A pager (I guess that's what you call it. Before Blackberries, iPhones and text messaging, my job was to type and send alpha-numeric messages to people's pagers.)

Four countries I've been to:
1. Canada
2. Mexico
3. Mybackyardia
4. Myfrontyardia (okay, the last two are made up. You couldn't guess that?)

Four places I'd rather be right now:
1. On the cover of Romantic Times BOOKreviews magazine
2. On Oprah's chair being interviewed by her
3. In bed (oh wait, I'm there right now)
4. Writing (wait, I'm doing that, too)

Four foods I like to eat:
1. String cheese
2. Strawberry yogurt
3. Sweet potato chips
4. Prime rib

Four personal heroes, past or present:
1. My mom
2. My sisters
3. My brother
4. The Jimmy

Four books you've read or are currently reading:
1. Brittany by Loretta R. Walls
2. Doubletake by Monique Lamont
3. A Walk In The Rain by Denise Jeffries
4. The English Detective and The Rookie Agent by Pat White

Four words or phrases you would like to see used more often:
1. Please
2. Thank you
3. Excuse me
4. New York Times best-selling author, Bridget Midway.

Four reasons for ending a friendship:
1. Lying
2. Betrayal
3. Lack of communication
4. Trying to fuck my man

Four smells that make you feel good about the world:
1. Rain on a spring day
2. The smell of a puppy's breath
3. Roses in bloom
4. The way my man smells when he comes home from work

My question: Four favorite cartoons from your childhood:
1. Bugs Bunny
2. Thundercats
3. Jem
4. Transformers

Time to tag someone else... How about Monique Lamont, Shara Lanel and Samara King?

I've been tagged...again and again!

The fun never ends. I've been tagged again, once on my My Space blog and again here. This time I've been tagged by Yvette Hines.

Here are the rules:

1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2.People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.

Here are my eight interesting facts. Enjoy!

1.) I love cheese sticks. That's probably why I'm the weight that I am.

2.) I love "Reno 911!"

3.) I into Broadway showtunes. It's nothing to hear me belt out a showtune for no reason.

4.) I love purses and shoes.

5.) I've never shot a gun and have no desire to do so.

6.) I met the governor of Virginia when I was a teenager.

7.) Growing up, my skin reacted so badly to metals that I broke out whenever I wore anything metal. So no watches with metal backing, earrings, bracelets, necklaces or rings. I've grown out of that now. Shower me with jewels!

8.) The very first car I ever owned was a 1982 Ford Escort. I got in an accident and smashed it all to hell.

Okay, now to pass along the torture to 8 others.

1. Laura Bacchi
2. A.C. Arthur
3. Marie Rochelle
4. Seressia Glass
5. Anna Fallon
6. Aurora Black
7. Lena Matthews
8. Aliyah Burke

Happy New Year to all of my sexy bitches!

Happy New Year, folks! You know, however you started the new year is how the rest of your year will go. So if you slept your way through it, you'll have a peaceful year. If you partied like it was 1999 (yeah, doing the retro thing) then you'll be a partying fool in 2007. If you brought the year in with a bang like I, uh, well some people may have, then you'll go through the year with the biggest grin on your face! However your New Year started, here's hoping for a great one for you!

Speaking of which, I hate, hate, HATE the whole resolutions thing. I think people just set themselves up for failure. That said, I did resolve to do things differently in my new year. First and foremost, I'm going to post more often on my blog. I've been neglecting you, my babies, and that's got to stop. Secondly, I'm going to write more and, hopefully, publish more. I'm really pushing myself to produce longer books. I'll still give you short works to whet your appetites. But I've really got to build up my writing endurance. Plus it's my goal to get published by the big NY boys someday.

Hey, that's it! It's not resolutions. It's goals! So my goals for this year are to blog more, write more, love more.

So to get started on my goals, I have to bounce. Hope you all will join me on my New Year's journey!

Stay sexy,
BridgeT
