Ever have those weeks where you just wanted to stay in bed and not look at anyone for a day or a week or a month or a century? I'm kinda going through that right now. It's been a week of highs and way down lows. First of all, got my first great review on the Romance Divas website! Now that made my day! I had to tell everyone and my mother about that. Wait. Damn! I forgot to tell my mother! I'm such a bad daughter. I should be spanked. Oh wait. That's another site and another conversation. Moving on.
I also found out that I got the big reject from the 2006 Best Women's Erotica anthology from Violet Blue. I figured when I didn't hear anything in a few months that I wasn't in the running anymore. *sigh* Can't say I didn't try. Then a book review website turned down my request to review "Adam and E-V-E". My mommy said my story is special. *S* God, I'm pathetic.
I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow has in store for me. I need to find that white magic bag I got from Cindy Cruciger when I was in St. Louis and rub it for good luck. I've kept it in my purse since the convention. I'm not giving it up just yet!
Okay, time to get back to work. On the upside, I did mail off my first contest winning gift pack to Cachel C. in Mississippi. She won an "Adam and E-V-E" gift pack through Romance Junkies. I'll be mailing out another one this weekend when I announce my guestbook winner. Stay tuned!

My week did end off pretty good. I have a friend who lives full-time in a nudist resort and it was open house yesterday. So I spent the entire day around a bunch of penises, balls and bare chests. Yum!

Oh my God! Hi, Cindy! Yes, you did confuse me. I'm thinking the bag has worked for me so far. I was able to book my first booksigning at an adult toy store. And I just got my 2nd novella accepted by Erotique Press. I'm going to keep rubbing it and see if I can get Ellora's Cave to accept my 2 manuscripts. I still carry it in my purse.
